The RK-9ALL-SERVO+PUR servo edgebanding machine is designed for manufacturers requiring high speed, repeatable accuracy and flexible edge band thickness changes. The industrial PLC system with a 21.5-inch touchscreen allows operators to select saved recipes, while the servo motors automatically adjust the key parameters according to the selected edge band thickness. This reduces manual intervention, production batch changeover time and the possibility of operator error.
The machine processes edge bands from 0.4 to 3mm and panels with a minimum width of 40mm. The dual-color PUR system enables operation with two adhesive colors, while the separate upper EVA glue pot with a quick-melting device creates a thin and uniform glue line. Servo-metered edge band feeding reduces unnecessary consumption, while the servo-positioned pressure system ensures stable contact with the panel.
The complete configuration includes chemical agent spray application, pre-milling units, gluing, multi-roller pressing, front and rear fine trimming, rough and fine milling, four-motor corner rounding, radius scrapers, flat scrapers, excess edge band trimming, cleaning agent spray nozzles and double polishing. Servo control of the fine milling, corner rounding and radius scrapers enables precise automatic positioning for different edge bands.
The machine is constructed with a heavy-duty frame welded from 16mm thick steel plates. The production process begins with robotic welding to ensure uniform joints and evenly distributed load-bearing capacity, followed by heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and provide long-term stability. The frame then undergoes automatic sandblasting, is protected with electrostatic powder coating and is precision-finished on a large CNC gantry milling machine. Smaller components are manufactured in the company’s own vertical machining center, ensuring the accuracy of the entire assembly.
With operating speeds of 18, 21 or 24m/min, a corner-rounding speed of up to 21m/min and auxiliary guidance for narrow panels, the RK-9ALL-SERVO is suitable for the serial production of furniture, kitchens, wardrobes and other panel furniture where clean finished edges and continuous production capacity are essential.
